Jordan Robert Morris of Eatonton, Georgia, died in a tragic vehicle accident on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the age of 20. His short life mattered so much to so many. Born in Conyers GA on December 11, 2001, he was the son of John William Morris and Jodi Leigh Ballew Morris. He attended Nathanael Greene Academy where he played football and was a member of the 4-H Shotgun Team. He worked for Sun Life Marinas for many years as a forklift driver and loved his marina family which included Kaitlyn and Victoria. Jordan loved life and everyone in his life. His Pawpaw was his best friend. His favorite Southern saying was RHEC. He enjoyed music, fishing, boating, hunting and being with his family and friends. He gave his life to Christ at Celebration Baptist Church in Greensboro, GA.
Survivors include his parents, John and Jodi Morris of Eatonton, GA; sister, JoAnna Morris; brothers, Jonathan Morris (Kayley) and Joshua Morris; his uncles and aunts, Wesley Morris (Christi), Brandon Morris (Nicole), Amanda Morris Reynolds (Terry), B. J. Morris, Jessica Dailey (Brett), all of the Seabolt, Morris, Cole and Ballew families and Carol Ann Sproles (Mike); maternal grandparents, Jesse and Sheila Ballew; paternal grandparents, Gary and Debbie Morris; great grandmother, Rama Cole; and cousins Jesse, Dylan and Skyler Seabolt; Kristie and Michael Sproles; Rylee, MacKenzie, Hannah, Layla, Charlotte, Evan and Kylie Morris; Emma, Aubrey and Gary Hullinger; other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Hank.
Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with Ralph Boswell and Rev. Kenny Marr officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until time for the service at McCommons Funeral Home.
