Jacob Alan “Jake” Bechtol

Jacob Alan “Jake” Bechtol, thirteen year old son of Casandra Nicole Peters Bechtol and Andrew Alan Bechtol, passed away on  Tuesday, August 22, 2017. He was born in Conyers, GA on November 11, 2003.  He loved music especially Bruno Mars and the noise from motorcycles and trucks. Jacob was a delight to everyone who knew him. He blessed so many lives.

In addition to his parents, Andrew and Nicole, he is survived by his sister, Kristina Marie Bechtol; his brother, Peyton Michael Bechtol; paternal grandmother, Sheila Bechtol; paternal great grandmother, Mildred Bryan; maternal grandparents, Sandra and Ricky Griffith; maternal great grandparents, Mary Peters and Laverne Waters; aunts and uncle, Kristy Thrasher (Russell), Rikki Griffith and Grady Griffith; many other relatives and a host of friends who loved Jacob very much.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alan Bechtol; paternal great grandparents, Sammie Bryan and Helen and Harold Bechtol; and maternal great grandparents, William Hamby, Benny Griffith and Grady Waters.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Walker United Methodist Church, 2730 Walker Church Road, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. John Pike officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive family and friends Friday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McCommons Funeral Home.  Serving as pallbearers are Robert Moon, Russell Thrasher, Colin Russell, Grady Griffith, Jason Murphy and Robert Peters.  McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
