Imogene Hines Eaton

Imogene Hines Eaton, age 80, of Greensboro, GA, died March 6, 2005 at Boswell Parker Nursing Center. A native of Nova Scotia she was born June 7, 1924 to the late Charles Lemmonds Hines and Elizabeth Ola Penney Hines. She graduated from Everett High School in Massachusetts and was a hairdresser during her working career. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensboro.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Wilkie Eaton; two sisters, and two brothers. She is survived by four daughters, Charlotte Thomas of Panama City, FL, Imogene "Cookie" Robinson and husband Gary of Greensboro, GA, Janice Kopp and husband David of Athens, GA and Roberta Duvall and husband Danny of the Greshamville Community; two sons, Ennis R. Eaton and wife Brenda of Conyers, GA and Warren Eaton and wife Linda of Foxfield, CO; fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Mike Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Rhett Kopp, Wynn Kopp, Colby Kopp, Robert Duvall, Shane Duvall, Jason Eaton and Jake Eaton. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home. Any memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life c/o Mary Pilgrim, P. O.
