Geraldine "Jerri" (Anderson) Cronic

Geraldine “Jerri” Anderson Cronic, age 76, of Grayson, Georgia died Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Come Home Care in Grayson, GA. Born on March 3, 1949, in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late James Nathanael Anderson and Elizabeth Pauline Grant Anderson. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. She married Stanley Sherman Cronic on May 28, 1966. Before moving to Grayson, they lived in Union Point where she worked as a teller for The Farmers Bank, retiring in January of 1986. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. 

In addition to her husband, Stanley Cronic of Grayson, GA, she is survived by a daughter, Lisa Cronic Gilstrap (Jeff) of Salem, SC; a son, Kevin Wayne Cronic (Tricia), of Monroe, GA; two sisters, Kathleen Sharpe (Harold) of Grayson, GA and Patricia Hodges of Commerce, GA; four grandchildren, Carley Nash (Addison), Katie Cronic, Annaka Schumars and Jackson Schumars; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Anderson and Tim Anderson; sister-in-law, Qwen Anderson; and brother-in-law, Budge Pitchford.  She was also preceded in death by her beloved pet dogs, Nikki and Rocky.

A Family Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery, Rhodes Street, Union Point, GA 30669 with Pastor Jeff Gilstrap officiating.  The family requests that any memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, Georgia 30346.  Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N.
