George Willard Bramlett
George Willard Bramlett age 80 of Woodville, Ga went to be with his lord and savior on Monday April 30, 2018. Born in Woodville, Georgia on October 21, 1937, he was the son of the late Willard Frank Bramlett and Maggie Louise Bird Bramlett. He attended school in Woodville and graduated from Union Point High School. He married the former Ella Elizabeth Chapman on June 6, 1955. After working thirty five years as a Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor at Warner Robins Air Force Base he retired in 1998. During his working career he lived in Perry Georgia and returned to Woodville after his retirement. He was a faithful member of Woodville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. For forty-nine years he was a Mason at the Perry and Union Point, Ga Chapel Lodge. He loved NASCAR and never missed a race.
In addition to his wife of sixty-three years, Ella Bramlett of Woodville, Ga, he is survived by his two sons, Tracy Bramlett (Donna) of Nashville, Ga and Tim Bramlett (Judy) of Byron, Ga; brother, Autry Bramlett of Woodville, Ga and a sister, Shirley Ann Cable (Quinton) of Kingman, Az; five grandchildren, Tralisha, Brandi, Pamela, Jennifer and Leonard; eleven great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with funeral service immediately thereafter at 11:00 on Friday May 4, 2018 at Woodville Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Smith officiating. Graveside services will follow with Masonic Rites in the Woodville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Rusty Bramlett, Kirk Bramlett, Nick Bramlett, Dean Bramlett, Donald Silvey and Keith Branyan.
