Fred Joseph Houle, Jr.
Fred Joseph Houle, Jr. 74, of Greensboro, Georgia formerly of Dunedin, Florida passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019. He was born on September 25, 1945 in Muskegon, MI, to the late Fred Joseph Houle, Sr. and Wilma Mary Schiller Houle. He graduated from St. Cecelia Catholic High School in Clearwater, FL. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy in action during the Vietnam War. Fred was the Maintenance Supervisor for Pinellas County School System. For the last ten years, he had lived at Lake Oconee where he attended Christ Our King & Savior Catholic Church in Greensboro, but was a member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Clearwater, FL. Over the years he enjoyed wood carving and using a metal detector while enjoying the beach with his dogs.
Survivors include his sister, Debra Anne Buttitta Stuler and brother-in-law, Bob Stuler of Greensboro, GA; nieces, Kaleen Edwards, Lisa Buttitta and Shamon Caruso; step nieces, Kristin Armstrong, Cathy McGirl and Lesley Stuler; and a number of friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church, 6341 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Father Michael Silloway officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Greensboro, GA 30642. The family requests any memorials be made to the Circle of Friends Animal Society, P. O.
