Faye (Leach) Nation

Alice Faye Leach Lindsey Nation, age 77, of Greensboro, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens. Faye was born on September 23, 1947, in Union Point to the late Nolan Carlton Leach and Minnie Alice Callaway Leach. She was educated at Union Point High School. Faye worked as a seamstress for Associated Textile Mills in Union Point, GA. She enjoyed actively participating in church events and caring for her dog, Peanut. She was a member of the Union Point Worship Center.

Her survivors include her sons, Roy Lee Lindsey and wife Susan of Thomson, GA, and Michael Scott Lindsey of Greensboro, GA; sister, Roberta Leach Rhodes of Union Point, GA; and her granddaughter, Carrington “Carrie” Lindsey Giles and husband Gavin; grandsons, Jacob Lindsey and Elijah Lindsey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Greg Nation, and her pet dog, Peanut.

A memorial service will be held at the Union Point Worship Center on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Candy Arwood officiating.
