Fay (Williford) Gipson

Fay Williford Gipson, age 76, of Senoia, GA formerly of Washington, GA died on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at her son’s home in Senoia where she had lived since 2006. Daughter of the late Epps David Williford and Callie Bell Adams Williford, Fay was born on October 13, 1946, in Washington, GA in Wilkes County. On August 3, 1963 she married Jack Leonard Gipson who preceded her in death in 1992.  Fay was a stay at home mom who enjoyed raising her three boys.  She loved her children, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a member of Tri County Baptist Church in Senoia. 
 
She is survived by three sons, Joseph Keith “Joey” Gipson (Renee) of Senoia, GA, William David Gipson (Hollie) of Washington, GA and David Scott Gipson (Jeannie) of Hobe Sound, FL; sisters, Linda W. McDonald (Dean) of Union Point, GA, and Cherry W. Goss (Bobby) of Rayle, GA; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many friends.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne English.
 
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1423 N. Rhodes Street, Union Point, GA 30669 with Rev. Doug Anderson, Rev. John McEver and Rev. Ron Whitlock officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Scott Gipson, James Gipson, Keith Gipson, Jason Buice, Correy Buice and Josh Bentley.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time for the service at Callaway Funeral Home.
