Elizabeth (Betty) Tutchener O'Neal

Elizabeth Margaret Tutchener "Betty" O''Neal, age 85, of Mesa AZ, formerly of Siloam and Macon, GA, died Saturday, March 21, 2009. She was born on July 26, 1923 in London, England to the late Ernest Henry Tutchener and Margaret McKenzie Ferguson Tutchener. She graduated from Ealing County High School in London, England in 1939. Mrs. O''Neal was the owner and operator of Children''s Garden Kindergarten in Macon where she resided from 1948 until 2005. She was a charter member of Southside United Methodist Church of Macon, GA, where she was also a member of the United Methodist Women''s Organization & Sisters in Christ. She was a member of Crowns Jewels British Group, B.B.C. British Group in Atlanta, GA and the Clan Ferguson Society of North America.

Mrs. O''Neal was preceded in death by her husband, Winfield Bowen O''Neal. She is survived by her loving daughter, Elizabeth Kenzie O''Neal Johnson of Queen Creek, AZ; a niece, Heather MacArthur of Scotland; a nephew, Henry Tutchener of Scotland; a great niece and two great nephews, Amy Boren and husband Jay of Newnan, GA, Samuel Isaac "Pete" O''Neal, III and wife Kristy of Greensboro, GA and Win O''Neal and wife Kasie of Crawford, GA; and and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held in Macon, GA on April 4, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bloomfield Methodist Church. Memorial Services will also be held on Sunday, April 5th, her husband''s birthday, at 1:00 p.m. at the Siloam Methodist Church in Siloam, GA with Rev. Bert Mathews officiating.
