Eleanor Joyce Beatty Mitchell

Eleanor Joyce Beatty Mitchell passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Legacy Health and Rehabilitation in Greensboro, GA.  She was 93.  Born March 25, 1925 in Bakersfield, CA she was the daughter and one of two children born to the late Walter Herman Beatty and Alice Pearl Baker Beatty.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed selling Avon from her home for more than forty years.  Prior to moving to Greene County in March of 2017 she lived in Ft. Myers, FL.  She was very active even later in life when she did water rafting, hot air ballooning and sky diving.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Odell Mitchell and a sister, Gloria Kilby.   She is survived by her children, Esther  Falde (Alan) of the Greshamville Community, Ruth McCasland (Jimmy) of Mesquite, TX, Mary Coker of Plano, TX, Paul Mitchell (Jodi) of Tampa, FL and David Mitchell of Fennville, MI; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
