Edward "Ed" Everette Bonner

Edward Everette “Ed” Bonner of Buckhead, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at The Harbor at Harmony Crossing in Eatonton, GA. Born on July 23, 1961, in Greensboro, GA, he was the youngest and only son along with three sisters of Everette Edward Bonner and Ruth Frances Brown Bonner. When he was younger, he attended school in Buckhead and later graduated from Morgan County High School. On March 16, 1996, he married the former Molly Nesson of Madison, WI.  He was a talented carpenter and devoted husband and father. He was a true country boy who enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and watching the Braves.

In addition to his wife, Molly Bonner of Buckhead, GA, he was preceded in death by his parents, Everette and Ruth Bonner; and father-in-law, James Ronald “Jim” Nesson. He is survived by his only son, Chase Bonner of Buckhead, GA; his three loving sisters, Gerald Warren (Daryl Warren) of Pelham, GA, Vicki Taylor (Tony Taylor) of Greensboro, GA, and Lynn Stephens of Buckhead, GA and mother-in-law, Cynthia Nesson of Bonita Springs, FL and a number of nieces and nephews. He was the best father, son, brother and uncle anyone could ask for and with a heart of gold when it came to children he had taken on the grandfather role to several great nieces and nephews including Waylon, Addison, and Hollis Huff and Ruth and Mollie Wilson. They loved him dearly.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at McCommons Chapel, 109 W. Broad Street, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Gary Pritchett officiating.
