Dr. Daniel Harry Michael, Sr.

Dr. Daniel Harry Michael Sr., 81 of Eatonton Georgia passed away on December 24, 2019.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 pm on December 29, 2019 at Grace Fellowship, Greensboro Georgia.  A visitation will precede at 2 pm at the church.

Harry was born in Jacksonville Florida on June 29,1938. He grew up in the Milford Community in Cobb County where he met his wife of 61 years Joyce King Michael.  He graduated from Georgia Southern with a master’s degree and held a Doctorate from Emory University.  He served as a pastor for 45 years.  He had a great love and passion for family, Georgia football, golf, car racing, and fishing.

Family includes his wife Joyce, his children Daniel Michael Jr., Robin and Wayne Hoover, grandchildren Grant Hoover, Wrenn and Patrick Coussens and great granddaughter Bowen Amelia Coussens.  Brothers and Sisters in Laws Steve and Cindy Michael, Freddie Michael, Mark and Lee Michael, brother in law Dave Pipkin. 7 nieces and nephews, 8 great nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his only sister Janet Michael Pipkin earlier in 2019.
