Diane (Davies) Moldenhauer

Diane Davies Moldenhauer of Greensboro, GA passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at her home at the age of 77. She was surrounded by family and friends during her last days. She was born in Red Wing, Minnesota, on December 9, 1939 to the late Charles Evan Davies and Marian Healy Davies. She graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in Education. On March 24, 1960 she married "Moldy" and spent 54 happy years. During their years together they lived in many different states and embraced the opportunities of meeting new people.  Some of Diane's passions were: the chorus,mission trips, PEO, golf, reading, travel, eating out, family, and seeing someone she knows. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Greensboro, GA.  

Diane is survived by two daughters, Julie M. King of Greensboro, GA and Lynda S. Hawk (Jeff) of Loveland, OH; son, Jeff Moldenhauer of Maineville, OH; brother, John “Jack” Davies (Pat) of Minneapolis,MN; grandchildren, Jesse King, Travis King, Lindsay Keogh (Michael), Justin Hawk, Kasey Hawk, Tanner Hawk, and Jessica Hawk ; great grandchild, Thatcher Claude Keogh; and her beloved dog, Betsy.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Allen Moldenhauer.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church - South Campus, 4741 Carey Station Road, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Mike Morgan and Rev. Hugh Hendrickson officiating. The family requests that any memorials be made in memory of Diane Moldenhauer to the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Assn. for Research, P.O.
