Debra Marie Kinler Lee, age 72, of Greensboro, Georgia, died Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Presbyterian Village in Watkinsville, GA. On August 16, 1952, she was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Gustave Kinler and Mary Lynn (Klein) Kinler. She graduated from Trinity High School in Euless, TX. On March 9, 1974 she married Robert Emmett Lee, Jr. Twenty-one years ago, they moved from Far Hills, New Jersey to Lake Oconee in Greensboro. After moving to Greensboro, she was a Receptionist with BankSouth for ten years and retired in 2013. Debbie was a member of Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church. She became a member of PEO (Philanthropic Education Organization), an organization helping women advance through education, in 1981.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Bob Lee, of Greensboro, GA; son, Robert Emmett Lee III (Jamie) of Short Hills, NJ; daughter, Laura Lynn Lee of Appleton, WI; brothers, Ched Kinler (Diane) of Ft. Worth, TX and Todd Kinler; three grandchildren, Alice, Emmett and Reagan all of Short Hills, NJ; and a number of other relatives and many friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Our King and Savior Church, 6341 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro, Georgia, 30642 with Father Adam Blatt officiating followed by a reception in the church’s Sacred Heart Social Hall.
