Debra (Brenizer) Cash

Debra Brenizer Cash of Eatonton, GA, formerly of Greensboro, GA passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at her residence in Eatonton at the age of 60.  Born April 29, 1960 in Savannah, GA, she was the daughter of Mary Brenizer Arnold of Greensboro, GA and the late John A. Brenizer.  Debra was a graduate of Nathanael Greene Academy in the class of 1978.  For many years she was the medical records clerk at Tendercare in Greensboro.  On April 25, 2009 she married Robert Cash of Eatonton.  Debra was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensboro where she enjoyed going as long as her health permitted and a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association.  Her many interests included crocheting, gardening, flowers and bird watching.  She also loved animals of all kinds, but family was most important.

In addition to her husband Robert Cash of Eatonton, GA and her mother, Mary Arnold of Greensboro, GA, she is survived by a sister, Shirley Duvall and husband Dan of Greensboro, GA; niece, Jackie Maliszewski and husband Rick of Freeport, FL; great niece, Dani Rae Maliszewski; sons, Stephen Cash (Kim) of Eatonton, GA, Anthony Cash (Melanie) of Greensboro, GA, Michael Cash of Eatonton, GA and Jeremy Cash (Hallie) of Eatonton, GA; four grandchildren, Arella Cash, Lola Cash, Griffin Cash and Abbey Cash; other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her stepfather Earl Arnold.

Private Services will be held Monday, June 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 203 S. Main Street, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Wayne Ghann and Rev. Mark Jones officiating, but everyone is welcome at the interment at Greenview Cemetery at approximately 11:00 a.m.  Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Cash, Stephen Cash, Anthony Cash, Jeremy Cash, Grady “G. W.” Taylor and Trevor Addison.  The family will receive friends Sunday, May 31, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at McCommons Funeral Home.  The family requests memorials be made to the Oconee Regional Humane Society, 1020 Park Avenue, Greensboro, GA 30642 or Nathanael Greene Academy, P O Box 109, Siloam, GA 30665.  McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
