Deborah (Wood) Mishkula

On Sunday, August 16, 2020, Deborah W. Mishkula, loving wife and step mother of one son, passed away at age 64. Deborah was born on November 14, 1955 in Atlanta, GA to James and Mary Wood. She attended South West DeKalb high school and graduated in the 1973 class. She received her associate’s degree from DeKalb College. She worked for SunTrust Bank for many years in different departments. On October 8, 1994, she married John Mishkula. Deborah had a passion for being around water. She especially loved going to the beach. Her favorite place was in Turks and Caicos’. She was known for her infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit.

Deborah was preceded in death by her father, James and her mother, Mary. She is survived by her husband, John; step son, John Michael Mishkula of Wilkes-Barre, PA; two aunts, Grace Van Dine and Pauline Wood, both from Winder GA; a sister, Karen Pullin from Coweta, GA; several cousins; a niece; and two nephews.
