Debbie Jewell (Goss) Dominy

Debbie Jewell Goss Dominy of Greensboro, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at her home with her loved ones. She was born May 31, 1957 in Greensboro, GA to the late Thomas Wesley Goss, Sr. and Myrtle Christine Shubert Goss. She grew up in Greensboro and attended Greene County High School. Debbie was the owner of Debbie Dominy’s Cleaning Service and a member of Wesley Chapel Wesleyan Church in Greensboro. She was an excellent cook and making and sharing Christmas candy and chocolate peanut butter balls was something she thoroughly enjoyed.  
 
Survivors included her daughters, Mollie Jewell Dominy of Greensboro, GA, Jodi Angelina Dominy of Greensboro, GA and Christy DeLong also of Greensboro, GA; sister, Elizabeth Charlene Black of Greensboro, GA; brother, Joe Fredrick Goss of Silver, GA; granddaughter, Julianne DeLong; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Carlton Dominy and four brothers, Thomas Wesley Goss, Jr., Harold Grayson Goss, William Leslie "Bill" Goss and James Roy Goss.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, August 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the family’s home with Rev. Tim Tabler officiating.  Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 2830 Highway 15 South, Greensboro, GA 30642. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
