Daniel "Dan" Boyd Ellison

Daniel Boyd “Dan” Ellison of Eatonton, Georgia, age 53, formerly of Greensboro, passed away on September 28th, 2023 at Putnam General Hospital. Dan was born in Greensboro, GA on September 23, 1970 to the late James Michael "Mickey" Ellison and Diane Higdon Womack. He was a member of the Greene County High School class of 1989. After high school, Dan worked in construction and later started Dan's Handyman Service. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his girls, Delaney and Lilly Kate. Dan was a member of Woodville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
 
Dan is survived by his two daughters, Delaney Ellison and Lilly Kate Ellison both of Greensboro, GA; his girlfriend, Janet Rhodes and her children, Bailey McCully, Dakota Ballard, and Austin Ballard; sister, Robin Ellison Smith (Lane) of White Plains, GA; brother Micheal Ellison (Allison) of Greensboro, GA; many other relatives and friends.

The family will have a memorial service for Dan on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the home of his Aunt and Uncle, Carol and Ceils Merritt, 3391 Liberty Church Road, White Plains, GA 30678 with Josh Lindsey officiating.
