Charlotte Melissa (Ford) Keyser

Charlotte Melissa Ford Keyser of Eatonton, GA passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA. Charlotte was born in Lamberville, NJ on June 27, 1944 the daughter of the late Virginia Stinsman and George Amos Ford, Sr. She Graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree from Mercer County (NJ) Community College, and on June 15, 1963 she married John Herbert Keyser.  She retired in 2002 after 18 years at Gould Batteries Company as their Computer Data Entry Clerk. Prior to their move to Putnam County from Starrucca, Pennsylvania, Charlotte and her husband John ran a Bed and Breakfast in Starrucca.  She was an excellent cook and an avid reader.  She was a loyal and faithful member of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Greensboro, GA, where she was a reader.  Charlotte was a wonderful wife and sister who thoroughly enjoyed her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, John Keyser of Eatonton, GA; brother, Gary Ford of Virginia; sister, Lynn Ford (Greg) of Maryland; and her beloved cats, Buddy, Getsender and Newby.  She was preceded in death by her older brother, George Amos Ford, Jr.  

The Celebration of Life for Charlotte will be held at a later date, after Easter. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, P. O.
