Charlie Lee Wallace, age 73, of Madison, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Eatonton Health and Rehabilitation. Born on May 20, 1951 in Weldon, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Marvin Rudolph Wallace and Margaret Ella Joiner Wallace. He was a Master Electrician owning his own business, Main Electric. In 1999 he met Lorraine Machado and they married on January 26, 2002. They moved from Conyers, GA to Madison where they have lived for the last four and one-half years. Charlie was a member of Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church in Greensboro. Golfing, scuba diving and traveling with family were his favorite pastimes. Along with his wife he enjoyed flower gardening and later began antiquing with her. His family was his life.
In addition to his wife of twenty-three years, Lorraine Wallace, survivors include two daughters, Stacie Alberson and Beth Criddle; three sons, David Wallace, Harry Wallace and Cole Wallace; sisters, Connie Powell and Lucy Lassiter, brothers, Buddy Wallace and Jerry Wallace; grandchildren' Chase Wallace, Avana Wallace, Savannah Wallace, Jaclyn Wallace, Sophie Wallace, Ashley Lassiter, Bradley Alberson, Blake Alberson, Brooklyn Alberson, Levi Bloom, Rylinn Campen and Ethan Campen; great grandchildren, Charlie Lassiter and Levi Lassiter; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter Amanda Johnston.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church, 6341 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro, Georgia 30642 with Father Adam Blatt officiating. The family will receive friends at McCommons Funeral Home on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be at Buckhead Cemetery, 4441 Buckhead Road, Buckhead, GA 30625. Serving as pallbearers are Harry Wallace, Cole Wallace, David Wallace, David Hassons, Bradley Alberson, Blake Alberson and Beth Criddle. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
