Charlie Thomas Martin Malcom

Charlie Thomas Martin Malcom, 79, of the Greshamville Community in Greene County died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at her residence. Born January 27, 1924 in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Martin and Enna Morris Martin. She graduated from Morgan County High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Madison.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Jack Malcom of the Greshamville Community; three daughters, Jacqueline M. Askew and husband Doug of Greensboro, Ga, Frances M. Dyer and husband Robert of Athens, Ga and Charlotte M. Haile of Watkinsville, GA; a son, William Malcom and wife Dianne of Greshamville, GA; eleven grandchildren, Timmy Askew, Jack Askew, Mary Bradley, Katherine Morris, Pamela Callaway, John Cronic, Michael Dyer, Amanda Malcom, Kristy Malcom, Renee Webb and Amy Wetmore; and ten great grandchildren, Zach Webb, Alissa Webb, Jessica Bradley, Angela Peart, Ricky Morris, Whitney Foster, Ryan Callaway, Grace Wetmore, Bryan Bryant and Shannon Hawkins. She was preceded in death by a son, Henry Malcom.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 16, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Greshamville with Rev. Mike Pritchett and Rev. Durell Rice officiating. Serving as pallbearers are John Cronic, Timmy Askew, Jack Askew, Michael Dyer, Doug Webb and Robert Dyer. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the Funeral Home. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
