Cathy Elaine (Moore) Wallace

Cathy Elaine Moore Wallace of Eatonton, GA passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital. The oldest of four daughters, she was born on July 20, 1957 in Atlanta, GA to Faye Martinez Moore and the late Guy Joel Moore.  She graduated from Druid Hills High School in 1975 and later enjoyed being their crossing guard. On September 23, 1982 she married John Stanley Wallace and they made their home in Atlanta and moved to Eatonton five years ago.  Most of her life she was a homemaker raising their three sons, Joel, Jonathan and Jake.  She enjoyed gardening, boating and spending time with her grandchildren.   

Survivors include her husband, John Stanley Wallace of Eatonton, GA; mother, Faye Martinez Moore; sons, Joel Crowe (Anna) of Jefferson, GA, Jonathan Wallace (Sarah) of Buford, GA and Jake Wallace (Casey) of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Charlie Crowe, Carson Crowe, Brooklyn Wallace, Brayden Wallace, Blakely Wallace and Brooks Wallace; sisters, Karen King (Chris) Susan Gober (Ward) and Sharon Marden; and a number of other relatives and many friends.  

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W. Broad Street, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Alec Ward officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.  Donations in memory of Cathy may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W.
