Her career in teaching continued as she was in her sixth year of teaching Spanish at Lake Oconee Academy. Carole was a lover of animals and truly loved her dogs Divot and Bunker. They were truly her “babies.” Carole also loved international travel and truly enjoyed going to all of the different beaches her and Alan visited.
Carole was simply a joy to be around. She brought optimism to any challenge and just made everyone feel better after spending time with her. Her laugh was contagious and her smile unparalleled. She and her dear friend Alan Crawford lived a fulfilling life, always thinking about family and friends. She was one of a kind.
