Carole Anne Hill Carson of Perry, GA, died Friday, August 30, 2024, at Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe in Macon, Georgia after a long battle with cancer. She was 68. A native of Atlanta, she was born September 4, 1955, to the late Raymond Hill and Hazel Stanley Durrence. She was a graduate of Walker High School. After high school, she began working at Southern Bell, later becoming AT&T, and retired as a manager. After retiring she worked as a rural mail carrier for the US Post Office in Bibb County and then later a school bus driver for Houston County. Carole was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading and discussing books with her book club. She was also a competitive dominos player. Carole was a member of The First United Methodist Church most of her life and most recently called First Methodist Warner Robins home.
Survivors include her daughter; Cindy Lynn Carson of Atlanta, GA; son Dylan Jefferson Carson (Lindsey Barth) of Madison, GA; granddaughter, Camryn Joe Carson; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Hill.
Funeral Services will be held, Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at The First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31093 with Josh Bizzell officiating.
