Brent Preston Slaughter

Brent Preston Slaughter, age 68 of the Greshamville Community died Thursday, May 23, 2019 at his home.  Born in Madison, Georgia on July 9, 1950, he was the son of the late Frank Slaughter and Estelle Brown Slaughter.  Preston was a graduate of Morgan County High School.  On January 20, 1975 he married the former Mary Ann Healey.  Preston was the owner and operator of Custom Dairy Equipment in Madison, GA.  Early in life he enjoyed fishing and hunting, but later he lived for competing in tractor pulls.  He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Greshamville.

In addition to his wife of nearly forty-five years Mary Ann Healey Slaughter of the Greshamville Community, he is survived by his son, Heath Slaughter and his wife Lisa; brothers, Frank Slaughter, Dan Slaughter, Jerry Slaughter, Sam Slaughter and David Slaughter; grandchildren, Anna Lynn, Victoria Boswell, Rob Boswell, Ashlyn Slaughter, Kaely Yearwood, Ryan Yearwood, Ethan Slaughter, Lola Slaughter; great grand child, Rhett Yearwood; a number of other relatives and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his daughters, Miranda Slaughter and Cresta Slaughter Boswell and sister, Suzanne Slaughter Ross.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 1400 Farmington Road, Madison, Georgia 30650 with Rev.
