Betty (O'Neal) Jordan

Betty O’Neal Jordan, of Greensboro, GA, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in the comfort of her home at the age of 81.  Born in Jacksonville, FL on February 9, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Walter Hill O’Neal and Edna Wray O’Neal.  She graduated from Union Point High School.  Betty worked in accounting for many former businesses in Greensboro and retired from Tendercare Clinic in 2011.  Betty was a sweet, kind person who dearly loved her family and was a wonderful, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  Betty was a member of the West End Baptist Church.
 
Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Oxenrider (Tim) of Newborn, GA, Joni Roberts (Daniel) of Greensboro, GA, Jill Webb (Jamie) of Greensboro, GA and one son,Chad Jordan (Julie) of Somerset, KY; Betty had eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren who loved her dearly; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Jordan, her brother, Joe O’Neal and sister Fay O’Neal Knight
 
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Callaway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Robinson and Rev. Wayne Usry officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Rhodes Street, Union Point, GA 30669.  Serving as pallbearers are Jamie Webb, Gavin McKinley, Will Gibson, Ridge Kelly, Dustin Higdon, and Gage McKinley.  Honorary pallbearer will be D J Stephens.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service at Callaway Funeral Home.  Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N.
