Anthony Scott "Tony" Haas

Anthony Scott “Tony” Haas of Greensboro, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the age of 52.  Tony was born February 27, 1968 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of Rita Ann Taylor Haas of Greensboro, Georgia and the late Mark Alan Haas.  He attended Stone Mountain High School.  He was the Senior Survey Party Chief for Moreland Altobelli Associates in Atlanta, Georgia.  Seven years ago Tony moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Greensboro, Georgia to be close to his parents.  His favorite pastimes were cooking, chess, football and listening to music.

In addition to his mother, Rita Haas of Greensboro, GA, Tony is survived by a brother, Keith Haas and his wife Sarah; nephews, Jackson, Jonathan and William; niece, Reilly; aunt and uncle, Fran and Jeff Young; other relatives and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Alan “Skip” Haas in 2018.

A family celebration of life will be held at a later date at Honey Creek Woodlands in Conyers, Georgia.
