Annie Rachel Jones Ruark

Annie Rachel Jones Ruark, age 88, of Covington, Georgia, died Friday, August 21, 2015 at Northridge Medical Center in Commerce, GA.  Rachel was born in Sharpsburg, GA on January 21, 1927, the daughter of the late William Allison Jones and Addie Grace Freeman Jones.  Rachel was a graduate of Starr High School in Sharpsburg, GA.  On March 2, 1963 she married Eugene Walker Ruark.  For thirty-five years she worked for BankSouth of Atlanta formerly known as Fulton National retiring in 1983 as Assistant Manager.  She was a member of Alcovy Mountain Baptist Church in Monroe, GA.  
 
In addition to her husband, Gene Ruark of Covington, GA, she is survived by a stepson, Daniel Peterson Ruark of Nicholson, GA; other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by a stepson David Giles Ruark; and her siblings, James C. Jones, Mary Jones Rhodes, Ray C. Jones, and Hoyt M. Jones.
