Ann Kolodziej, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025. She was born on August 24, 1921, in Hamtramck, Michigan to Deny and Aneila Palacz Kosciow. Her parents, sister, Helen Jeszke and brother, Steve Kosciow preceded her in death.
Ann married her wonderful husband of 43 years, William, on May 25, 1946, at Our Lady of Help Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan. William passed away on December 20, 1989. She had a successful career with Warner Lambert as a secretary. Ann was a loving, caring wife and mother to one child. She is survived by her daughter, Roxanne Semanson. Ann was a very special and loving grandmother to three grandchildren who brought great joy to her life: Jeffrey Semanson, Andrew Semanson and Lauren Semanson Bryant and was also great grandmother to Abigail Semanson, Daley Semanson, William Semanson, John Brooks Bryant, Ann Bennett Bryant and Campbell Bryant.
Ann and Bill lived in Detroit, MI, Troy, MI, Middletown, NJ and Alpharetta, GA following her daughter through many transfers. Following her husband’s passing Ann lived in Duluth, GA and Greensboro, GA with her daughter and son-in-law until residing at the Glen.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church, 6341 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro, Georgia 30642 with Father Adam Blatt officiating, followed by a reception in the Social Hall.
