Alan Franz Brumbaugh died Friday, October 7, 2022, at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, GA. He had been a resident of Greensboro since the early 90’s moving from Chicago, IL. Born October 25, 1945 in Norfolk, VA, he was one of two sons born to the late France Walter and Arlene Evelyn Olson Brumbaugh. He graduated from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin where he received a Bachelor’s degree in marketing. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Alan was the owner and operator of numerous businesses in both Chicago and New York and retired from Brumbaugh & Goldman Advertising before moving to Reynolds in Greene County. In 2018 he moved to The Glen.
Alan was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa. He is survived by his brother, Earl W. Brumbaugh (Judy Brumbaugh) of St. Cloud, MN; nephews, Erik Brumbaugh (Kathy Brumbaugh) of Minneapolis, MN and Todd Brumbaugh of Duluth, MN; grand nephew and niece, Endre and Siri Brumbaugh of Minneapolis, MN.
