Addysen Hope Ward

Addysen Hope “Addy” Ward, 4 year old daughter of Austin Dakota Ward and Brittany Deeann Stewart Ward passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 unexpectedly at Jasper Memorial Hospital in Monticello, GA.  She was born in Athens, GA on October 20, 2018.  She attended school at Jasper County Pre K. Addy had the sweetest smile whenever you talked to her. She brought joy and happiness to everyone who knew her. Everybody’s life especially her family was truly blessed for knowing her these past four years.  She loved her cousins, lights that twinkled, snuggling, playing patty cake and watching tv.

In addition to her parents, Austin and Brittany, she is survived by her sister, Paisley Ward; paternal grandparents, Scott Ward and Jeannie Ward and Leslie Jenkins; maternal grandmother, Susi Ann Stewart and the late Ricky Stewart; maternal great grandmother, Annaleise McNair, and many other relatives and friends who loved Addy dearly and will miss her so much.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 12:00 noon at McCommons Chapel, 109 W. Broad Street, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Tony King officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time for the service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in the Siloam Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers are Edward McNair, Link Durham, Robert Olsen and Josh Ward.  Honorary pallbearer will be Elijah Burke.  McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
