Willie Lou Thompson Poss, age 92, of Greensboro, GA, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at her daughter''s home in Greensboro. A lifelong resident of Greene County, she was born on October 17, 1912 to the late Alex Thompson and Carrie Rowland Thompson. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Union Point. A She is survived by seven daughters, Mary Callaway Stewart and husband Joe of Madison, GA, Emma Dell Chandler of Greensboro, GA, Carolyn Hardy and husband Bill of Milledgeville, GA, Shirley Tate and husband Bo of Greensboro, GA, Barbara Bradley and husband Melvin of Greensboro, GA, Melissa Hunter and husband Franklin of Washington, GA and Vicki Starr and husband Jim of Madison, GA; a son, Billy Poss of Union Point, GA; thirty four grandchildren; fifty nine great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Dee Poss; a daughter, Dianne Christian; and three step daughters, Eleanor Silvey, Willie Rebecca Meek and Hazel Ruark. A Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. John Milam and Rev.Ralph Kitchens officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery in Greensboro. Serving as pallbearers are Chris Janes, Tony Moon, Kevin Poss, Todd Vandiver, Josh Thompson and Dusty Starr.
