William Stewart Obituary

William Joseph Stewart, age 30, of North Augusta, SC formerly of Union Point, GA, died Thursday, September 14, 2006. He was born on February 2, 1976 in Athens, GA to Bonnie Paradise Morrison and the late John Benjamin Stewart, Jr. He graduated from Nathanael Greene Academy in 1994 and attended Georgia Southern University. He was an owner of Paradise Point Investments, LLC. Joe was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Union Point.

He is survived by his parents, Bonnie Paradise Morrison and John Richard Morrison of Greensboro, GA; one brother, John Benjamin Stewart, III., wife, Elizabeth Tanner Stewart, one niece, Madelyn Cate Stewart, maternal grandfather William H. Paradise of Stephens, GA. and fiance, Mandy McCollough. Other members of his immediate family include his aunt, Beth Paradise Garrard, uncle, David Garrard, and cousin, William Paradise Garrard of Washington, GA. Joe is predeceased by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Stewart and Mary Jean Cheney Paradise.

Extended family members include: Mrs. Janice Stewart, Pete O''Neal, Win O''Neal and siblings of John Benjamin Stewart, Jr.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W. Broad St., Greensboro, GA. Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery, Union Point with Rev. David Key officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Chris Rodewolt, Stan Flint, Matt Boswell, Jim McCullough, Bill Strickland, Jim Strickland, Win O''Neal, Steve Power, Shane Fleming, Buddy Brown and Frank Beasley.
