William Kenneth Nunn

William Kenneth Nunn, age 86, of Crawfordville, Georgia died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at his residence.  A lifelong resident of Crawfordville, he was born on July 27, 1928 to the late Carl Nunn and Mary Verna Howell Nunn.  He grew up in Crawfordville and attended Alexander Stephens Institute.  After high school he served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He married the former Mary Fannie Melson on November 6, 1953.  For over forty years he worked as an Insurance Agent for Independent Life Insurance Co.  Kenneth was a member of Margaret’s Grove Baptist Church.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was also an excellent cook and derived much pleasure in woodworking.
    
In addition to his wife  of 61 years, Fannie Nunn of Crawfordville, GA, he is survived by two daughters, Vicki and Randy Swann of Crawfordville, GA and Karen and Sam Woodford of Franklin, NC; sister, Mary Ella Brook of Greensboro, GA; brother, Lawrence and Theresa Nunn of Harlem, GA; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lewis Nunn and Huey Nunn.
