William Doty Obituary

William James Doty, age 84, of the Liberty Community died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Greene Point Health Care & Rehab in Union Point, GA. Born in Belleville, Illinois on October 26, 1926, he was the son of the late Mack Doty and Edna Zielman Doty. He was in the Merchant Marines and later owned and operated Master Craft Upholstery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hanna Greta Rantala Doty and two sons, William "Bill" Doty, Jr. and Eric Doty. He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Doty Brogden; a son, Brian Doty; grandchildren, Sara Brogden, Joshua Curry, Mary Doty, Mack Doty and Joe Doty; and a number of other relatives and friends.
