Wendell Lawrence Tatro

Wendell Lawrence "Wen" Tatro, age 68, of Greensboro, Georgia, died on Monday, July 21, 2008 at his home in Reynolds Landing. Son of the late Harold and Alvina Tatro, Wen was born on July 16, 1940, in Cook County, Illinois. In 1959 he graduated from Lindbloom High School in Illinois. Wen worked in industrial sales for forty-five years. He was a loving husband, father and "Papa" devoted to his grandchildren. The Tatros moved to Greene County nine years ago from Naperville, Illinois. Wen is survived by his wife, Carol Tatro of Greensboro, Georgia; two daughters, KimTatro of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Karen Steiger of Fayette, Alabama; a son, Greg Tatro of Macon, Georgia; a sister, Laverne Tatro of Chicago, Illinois; three grandchildren, Lauren Tatro, Andrew Tatro and Savannah Steiger; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Harold Tatro and Alvina Dollinger. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Walker United Methodist Church with Rev.
