Annie Vivian Mann
Annie Vivian Mann of Greensboro, GA, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 82. A lifelong resident of Greene County, she was born on March 29, 1934 to the late Arthur Willie Mann and Annie Lou Wagnon Mann. She attended school in Siloam through the seventh grade and graduated from Greensboro High School. After high school she worked for B P Lunceford in Union Point, and the Casual Shop in Greensboro. Vivian retired as manager for Marrett’s in Greensboro after twenty-eight years. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church in Siloam, but also enjoyed attending Progressive Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church of Union Point. Going to church and participating in church activities, visiting her friends and taking care of her family were some of her many interests.
She is survived by her nephew Chris Mann (Rhonda) of Greensboro, GA; niece Marie Lashley of Greensboro, GA; several great nieces and nephews; and numerous friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Mann and a nephew, James Mann.
Graveside Services will be held, Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 2999 Bethany Church Road, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Wayne Usry officiating.
