Virginia Carolina Perry Lewis, 93, of Pine Harbor, GA died Friday, May 21, 2004 at Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, GA. Born in Edgefield County, South Carolina on March 3, 1911, she was the daughter of the late George P. Perry and Ora Crouch Perry and the widow of the late James Graham Lewis, Sr. She was a graduate of Johnston, South Carolina High School, a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Conyers.
Preceding Mrs. Lewis in death were two sisters, Mrs. W. T. (Lona) Simril and Mrs. Orabelle Perry Smith; a half-sister, Mrs. Louise Smith; a brother, Franklin Perry; and a half-brother, Paul Perry. She is survived by a son, J. Graham Lewis, Jr. of Pine Harbor, GA; three grand children, Griffin Earl Lewis of Richmond Hill, GA, Clair Elizabeth Harrison of Atlanta, GA and Catherine Louise Larkin of Belvedere Island, GA; two great grandchildren, Griffin James Larkin and Emory Leigh Larkin of Belvedere Island, GA.
Graveside Services will be held Monday, May 24, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Siloam Cemetery with Rev. Les Cowart and William Perry Simril officiating.
