Stewart Vaughn Price, age 44, of Bakersfield, California died Friday, November 12, 2010. Born July 22, 1966 in Alameda, California, he was the son of Paul Clinton Price and Kirsten Elisabeth Pedersen Price. He graduated from Hillsboro High School in California and in 1990 from the University of California Davis with a Bachelor''s Degree in Ag Science and Management. Stewart worked for J. G. Boswell Tomato Company in Corcoran, California as Manager of Field Services. He was very well known and respected by the people in the agricultural industry and loved the people he worked with and his job very much. He was an active member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity at University of California Davis and was currently the treasurer of the Alumni Scholarship Fund for the fraternity. He enjoyed his pass time playing racket ball, camping, hiking, scuba diving, snow skiing and his favorite was gardening. He had a love for animals, especially his bird, Ping the Parrot.

In addition to his parents, Paul and Kirsten Price of the Macedonia Community, he is survived by two sisters, Toni Price of Columbus, Ohio and Blythe Van Eps and husband John of Nampa, Idaho; nephew, Jaxson Van Eps; niece, Chayse Van Eps; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 2721 Macedonia Road, Union Point, GA 30669 with Rev. Farrett Boswell Officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service in the Fellowship Hall.
