Steven Leslie Cargile

Steven Leslie Cargile of Greensboro, Georgia formerly of Roswell, Georgia, died Friday, December 14, 2018 at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital at the age of 85. Mr. Cargile was born in Tulsa, OK on November 27, 1933 the only child of the late Jean Pearl Stevens & James Charles Cargile. He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Oklahoma.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for two years. Mr. Cargile worked for AT&T where he retired in 1983.  Then he worked for Phillip Morris as a salesman for five years.  On December 9, 1995 he married Mary Leckie Falcitelli.  After retirement they moved to Greene County where they have been living for the past twenty years. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family, playing golf and cards.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Mary Cargile; daughter, Misti Morrison of Lexington, GA; step children, Teresa Haney (Lowell) of Rome, GA, Michael Falcitelli of Land O’ Lakes, FL, Tony Falcitelli of Pensacola, FL, Chris Falcitelli (Kendra) of Rome, GA and Dan Falcitelli (Carolyn) of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Damon Cargile, Noah, Zeb, Joe, Emily and Lauren Falcitelli.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date with burial in Fairland, OK.  The family requests any memorials be made to The Shriners Hospitals for Children. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
