Sarah Victoria McPipkin, age 10, of Winterville, Georgia, died on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Children''s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Sarah was born on July 26, 1996, in Laurens County the daughter of Donna Yates McPipkin and James Lawrence "Jim" McPipkin. She attended Athens Montessori School.

She is survived by her parents, Donna Yates McPipkin and James "Jim" Lawrence McPipkin; sister, DeLorean Elise Strickland; maternal step grandmother, Velma Yates; paternal grandmother, Berta Stradtman McPipkin; aunts and uncles, Barbara and Paul McPipkin, Joe and Susie McPipkin and Carl W. Yates.

A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at the Athens Botanical Garden Day Chapel, 2450 S. Milledge Avenue, Athens, GA 30605 with Robbye Jarrell and Debbie Huckaby officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Ray Goff, Tommy McDonald, Amory Scoggins, Hank Davis, Chris McPipkin and Jim Baker. All will be welcomed to a reception of friends and family downstairs in the Reception Hall after the service. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
