Sarah Katherine Fitzpatrick Harr of Suwanee, GA passed away, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Northside Hospital in Cumming, GA. Born in Penfield, GA on August 30, 1931 she was one of three children of the late Erastus Calvin Fitzpatrick and Blanche Wilson Fitzpatrick. She graduated from Greensboro High School in the class of 1947.  She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force.  In 1998 she retired from Corbin Supply Company in Macon, Ga where she was the purchasing manager for over 30 years.  She loved reading, history and discussing politics. She was a lifelong member of Penfield Baptist Church in Penfield, GA.
 
Sarah was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Harr; sister, Betty Tolbert and brother, Calvin Fitzpatrick.  She is survived by her daughter, Gail Heath and husband Bob of Moore Haven, FL and a son, Paul Harr and wife Amy of Suwanee, GA; five grandchildren, Emma, Richard, David, Stephen and Eden; three great grandchildren, Michelle, David and James.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Wayne Usry officiating.  Interment will follow at Penfield Cemetery, 1211 Penfield Road, Penfield, GA 30669. Serving as pallbearers are Barry Tolbert, Stephen Harr, David Hammock, Bob Heath and Paul Harr.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service at McCommons Funeral Home in Greensboro.  The family requests that any memorials be made to the Penfield Baptist Church or Penfield Cemetery, 1211 Penfield Road, Penfield, GA 30669.  McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
