Sara Nell (Seymour) Bryant

Sara Nell Seymour Bryant, age 81, of Siloam, GA, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Savannah Court of Lake Oconee in Greensboro, GA. A lifelong resident of Greene County she was born on February 13, 1937 to the late Harold Lee Seymour, Sr. and Nellie Huff Seymour. In 1955 she graduated from Greensboro High School. During her working career she worked for J. H. McCommons Co., Inc, Citizens Union Bank and retired from BB&T. After her husband’s death she continued to manage the rental property that they owned. Sara Nell was a member of Siloam Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, cooking and entertaining her family and friends.

She is survived by three daughters, Cindy B. Credille and husband Barry of Siloam, GA, Angela B. Durham and husband Rob of the Veazey Community and Alyson B. Bryant and husband Brad of Gray, GA; five grandchildren, Brent Credille and wife Allison, Morgan Durham Burks and husband Charlie, Trey Durham, Harrison Bryant and Walker Bryant; three great grandchildren, Collins, Brooks and Carter Credille; sister, Jean Cook of Greensboro, GA; and a number of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Junior “Too Tall” Bryant  a daughter, Lisa Kay Bryant; and a brother, Harold Lee “Sonny” Seymour, Jr.. 

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro with Rev. Will Mathews officiating. Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Jimmy Peugh, Brent Credille, Trey Durham, Walker Bryant, Harrison Bryant and Charlie Burks. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Siloam Methodist Church, c/o Shirley Channell, 3871 Highway 15 South, Greensboro, GA 30642. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home. The family would like to thank everyone at Savannah Court for the great care they gave to their mother.
