Ruth Lee Gipson Nunn

Ruth Lee Gipson Nunn, age 81, of Union Point, Georgia, died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Greene Point Health Care Center. She was born in Rabun County, Georgia on August 26, 1925 to the late Tarsus Duncan Gipson and Leona Beaird Gipson. She attended school in Maxey''s Georgia. During her working career she was a knitter at Chipman Union and a cook at Greene Point Nursing Home. Ruth was a member of Union Point Worship Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Lee Nunn; sister, Lucille Garrett; and brothers, Max Gipson and Howard Gipson. She is survived by three sons, Eddie Nunn and wife Jessica of Stockbridge, GA, Ronnie Nunn and wife Faye of Union Point, GA and Michael Nunn of Union Point, GA; three sisters, Jean Watkins of Siloam, GA, Lois Phillips of Commerce, GA and Bertie Dockery of Riverdale, GA; two brothers, Horace Gipson of Snellville, GA and Dennis Gipson of Royston, GA; ten grandchildren, Beth Nunn, Scottie Nunn, Rhonda Nunn, Joni Nunn, Stacie Nunn, Mike Nunn, Keith Nunn, Jamie Nunn, Josh Nunn and Brandie Nunn; two great- grandchildren, Timothy Marchman and Victor Garcia, Jr.; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Siloam Cemetery with Rev. James Bowen officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Terry Watkins, David Duncan, Mike Nunn, Keith Nunn, Jamie Nunn and Larry Garrett.
