Ruenell Baker Obituary

Ruenell Eady Baker, 90, of Union Point, GA, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital. Born in Carrollton, Georgia, on September 17, 1916, she was the daughter of the late John Cane Eady and Pearle Denny Eady. For thirty years she worked for Dymo Industries as a machine operator retiring in 1978. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Union Point. She had lived in Union Point for the past thirteen years to be close to her family. Ruenell was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Surviving family members are a son, Richard Baker of Union Point, GA; a granddaughter, Tinna Mitchell and husband Dennis of Union Point, GA; a grandson, Robbie Baker and wife Jennifer of Sharpsburg, GA; four great grandchildren, Haley Mitchell, Kory Smith, Savannah Baker and Devin Mitchell; and a number of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Allie Mae Jenkings, Flora Payne and Virgil Eady

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 24, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Union Point with Rev. Leonard Ezell and Rev. Virgil Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Jamie Long, Jody Long, Kenny Long, Dennis Long, Bobbie Marlow, Johnny Eady, Mike Eady, Randy Herrington, Lowell Harrison and Scott Hubbard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.
