Ronald Gene Moon

Ronald Gene Moon, age 46, of Union Point, GA died Monday, February 16, 2004 at his residence. He was born on April 6, 1957 in Wilkes County to Russell Grover Moon and the late Mary Frances Randall Moon. He attended Greene County Schools and was of the Baptist Faith. He worked for Alcan in Greensboro.

In addition to his father, Russell Grover Moon and stepmom, Jean Cato of Athens, GA, he is survived by two daughters, Pamela Moon of Union Point, GA and Christina Moon of Union Point, GA: a son, Joshua Lee Moon of Union Point, GA; two sisters, Dianne Merritt of Greensboro, GA and Linda Moon of Perry, GA; three half sisters, Gennie Cato of Athens, GA, Sue McKinney of Athens, GA and Brenda McKinley of Royston,GA; one brother, Tim Moon and wife Deatrice of the Veazey Community; a half brother, Terry Henson of Athens, Ga; an aunt, Ella Walker of Union Point, GA; and one grandchild, Keandre Briscoe; and other relatives, and friends.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 19, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Jim Olds officiating.
