Robert Eubanks Obituary

Robert Andrew Eubanks, 61, of Dalton, and formerly of Armuchee, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2003, at the residence of his sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Wayne Hurst in Greensboro, GA, after an extended illness.

Mr. Eubanks was born in Rome, the son of Thomas Jefferson Eubanks and Thelma Marr Eubanks. He was a graduate of Armuchee High School and Georgia Tech and had worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a number of firms in the textile industry, and in the home construction industry.

He was preceded in death by his father, T.J. Eubanks, a sister, Irene Eubanks, and a brother, Tommy Eubanks. Survivors include his mother Thelma Marr Eubanks of Greensboro, GA; four sisters, Julia Evatt of Ellijay, GA, Carolyn Holmes of Calhoun, GA, Donna Hurst of Greensboro, GA, Monna Lumsden of Greensboro, GA; three brothers, Bill Eubanks of Albany, GA, Mac Eubanks of Armuchee, GA and Milton Eubanks of Sioux St. Marie, MI; and a number of cousins, nieces, nephews, an aunt and an uncle.

A memorial service for Mr. Eubanks will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mountaintown Baptist Church in Ellijay, GA with the Rev. Edmund Miller and the Rev. Dan R.
