Robby P Edwards

Robert Preston “Robby” Edwards, passed away, Friday, January 13, 2017 at Piedmont Athens Regional. He was 62.  Robby was born on November 11, 1954 in Chamblee, GA as the forth child of the Late Robert Neil “Toby” Edwards and Esther Lena Webb Edwards.  For thirty-six years he lived in the Veazey Community of Greene County before moving to Bogart, where he has lived for the past ten years.  Robby attended Liberty United Methodist Church.  He lived a full and happy life with family and friends and was known for his gentle manner and loving spirit.

Robby enjoyed daily walks, visiting with his neighbors and his extensive collection of DVDs and CDs.  Among his favorites were John Wayne westerns, Elvis Presley and Glen Campbell music and books he found at Goodwill stores.

Robby is survived by his sister, Patricia Ann “Pan” Wolski of Atlanta, his brother, Ashley Webb Edwards and wife Linda of Bogart, GA; nephew, Matthew Wolski; niece Mary Ellen Edwards Levie; other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cary Rorke Edwards.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3091 Liberty Church Road, White Plains, GA 30678 with Rev. Tom Compton officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family requests friends to make a donation to Liberty United Methodist Church, Bldg.
