Reita Bennett Babb

Reita Bennett Babb, age 72, of Greensboro, GA, died Sunday, November 8, 2009 at the home of her nephew in Lawrenceville, GA. Born in DeKalb County on September 14, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John Paul Bush and Laura Matthews Bush. She retired to Lake Oconee in 1992 after thirty-four years with the F.D.I.C. and was a member of Walker United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Babb and her sister, Theda Jackson. She is survived by her granddaughter, Ceara Babb of McDonough, GA; a step-daughter and husband, Lainnie and Steve Bowers of McDonough, GA; a niece, Laura Smith of Pine Lake, GA; a nephew and his wife, Charles and Sandy Jackson of Lawrenceville, GA and many other nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Walker United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Pike officiating.
