Ray Anthony Strozier

Ray Anthony Strozier, age 54, of Union Point, GA, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at St. Mary''s Hospice House. Ray was born on August 4, 1957 in Greensboro, GA to Gerald and Ozella Adkins Strozier of Union Point. He attended school at Greene County High School and worked as a roofer for Richard Cronic. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Union Point. Ray enjoyed fishing and hunting.

In addition to his parents, Gerald and Ozella Strozier of Union Point, he is survived by two daughters, Rae Lynn Strozier of Union Point, GA and Kimberly Nichole Smith of Bogart, GA; two sisters, Geraldine Strozier Lamar of Union Point, GA and Martha Ellen Strozier Dover and husband Terry of Auburn, GA; five grandchildren, James Smith, Alex Smith, Emily Strozier, David Adriance and Steven Corry; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brittney Smith.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, 3963 Union Point Highway, Union Point, GA 30669 with Rev. Bobby Tomlin and Rev. Colin Duncan officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Terry Dover, Brad Dover, Todd Godbee, Scott Walker, Jarrell Vandiver and Carson Webb.
